Pressure on the wires from stock within the enclosure is absorbed by the wires rather than the knots, and special crimps along the horizontals will absorb the pressure, allowing the fence to spring back into place.
The patented stiff-stay forged knot provides exceptional holding characteristics but is smoother than knot types of similar performance. This not only looks more appealing than batten or fixed knot fences, it prevents damage to animal hides. The smaller, less obtrusive knot does not collect wool or fur.
